1st January 1970 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

When we inspected the 128 Dental Practice we talked to the staff and to each of the four people who had an appointment on the first day of our visit. Most of the people we spoke to had attended the surgery for more than five years and one person told us that they considered it worth travelling for 90 minutes each way to attend.

Each of the people who used the service agreed to our looking at their patient records so that we could verify aspects of our inspection. There were two members of staff available on the first day of inspection and we also spoke to each of them.

During our inspection we were told that most people who used the service were treated under NHS provisions although private consultations were also available. The practice served people from the surrounding area many of whom were families and hence it provided care for both adults and children. When we spoke to people who used the service they told us that they thought the service was “excellent” – “it does what it says on the tin”.
