25th September 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

All the people we spoke with were very complimentary about the practice and happy with their care and treatment. One person said, "Excellent, no problems here. I have recommended it to other people." Another person told us, "This is the best dentist I have ever had. They are very pleasant here."

People were involved in their care and were given information and choices about treatment options.

People's dental treatment needs were assessed and their treatment was planned. Staff were trained in emergency procedures.

We found staff were trained in, and had procedures to follow, for protecting people from abuse.

We found the practice was clean and good infection control procedures were in place.

We found staff were supported to keep their knowledge, practice, and where applicable, their professional registration up to date.

We saw the provider had effective systems for ensuring people's safety and monitoring the quality of the service provided.
