11th November 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

At the time of the inspection we were not able to speak to people using the service as there were no appointments booked. Consent for psychiatric care was obtained by the doctor from the person being treated before their first appointment and was an on-going process.

Care was planned in a way to ensure people's safety. People were assessed by the doctor to determine whether treatment would be suitable and what that would involve. People were provided with post-treatment advice and information. There were procedures in place to deal with medical emergencies.

People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse because the provider had suitable arrangements in place to safeguard people.

There was a complaints policy and procedure in place and people were given information on how to make a complaint.
