12th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People told us that they had been involved in the decision making process of their treatment plan. They felt that staff were polite and helpful ad that their dignity and privacy had been upheld.

People told us that the treatment options and treatment plan were discussed with them and they were given enough time to decide on the course of treatment.

Staff had received training in safeguarding vulnerable adults and were aware of how and where to report allegations of abuse.

The practice had an effective system in place to prevent, detect and control the spread of infection.

The practice had a robust recruitment process in place which included checks to ensure that staff had registered with the relevant professional bodies and that staff had undergone CRB checks prior to commencing work. Staff were supported to provide care and treatment to patients and the practice regularly sought the views of people that used the practice.
