8th July 2014 - During a routine inspection
We spoke with two patients and their parents who told us that they were happy with the service provided. One patient said “I am excited but scared too, I want a lovely smile”. Another patient said “I have had everything explained to me. I am nervous but the dentist and nurse makes me laugh”. One parent said “I have no complaints everything has been explained to my daughter. I am very impressed, they make you feel very welcome". Patients said their treatment plans were always explained and discussed with them. Patients said that the service was always clean, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We found that patients who used the practice understood the care and treatment choices available to them. We found that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that patients’ received. We found that patients were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.
