1st August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three people who used the service to find out their opinions of the treatment they received. Everyone we spoke with was satisfied with the service and treatment they received at the practice. One person said, "I am pleased with the treatment I get. They explain what needs to be done and I am involved in making decisions about my treatment.” Another person told us, “I visit regularly and I find they are very pleasant. The staff are very professional.”

We found that people were given information and consulted about care and treatment options at the practice.

People told us they were happy with the standard of cleanliness at the practice and we found there were suitable infection control procedures in place. One person said, "The place is immaculate.”

We checked staff records and found the provider had appropriate systems in place for recruitment of staff.

There was an effective system in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received which included audits and checks of records, equipment and systems. The provider used surveys to seek feedback from people about the quality of the service.
