We spoke with four people who used the services provided at Alpha Dental Studio Fairfield, one dentist, the registered manager, practice manager and two dental nurses.

People told us they were very satisfied with the dental care and treatment provided and that they were always given a full explanation of treatment options. One person said, "I am having treatment today. I know exactly what he (the dentist) is doing, the costs have been fully explained and I know what the different charges and levels are." Another person said, "The dentist is wonderful, fully explains everything, I have real confidence in him and I wouldn't go back to anyone else." Another person spoken with said the education and support provided to them by their dentist helped them to stop smoking, which has had a positive impact upon their dental care. We found that appropriate records were in place.

We found that people were protected from the risk of infection as care was delivered in a clean and hygienic environment and appropriate checks had been undertaken.

We found appropriate recruitment practices to be in place and the practice had an effective system for dealing with complaints.
