People told us the surgery provided a good service. One person said, “I am delighted with the treatment I’ve had. The service is good and my teeth look much better since coming here.” Another commented, “The treatment is really good. The dentist explains everything to me and is really friendly and polite.”

People said the dentist consulted with them before proceeding with any treatment. One person told us, “I had a crown done today which was my choice – I could have had the tooth out instead if I’d wanted to.”

People told us they thought the surgery was always clean and protective clothing was made available. One person said, “It always seems clean here and the surgery is immaculate.” Another told us, “They always give me an eye shield and a fresh bib to wear when I come for my appointments.”

People said they liked the staff team. One person said, “It’s excellent here – the dentist has a lovely manner, explains everything, and seems very skilled – I’ve no complaints.” Some staff did not have the required CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks and we have asked the provider to address this.

People had had the opportunity to share their views about the service through surveys. Staff told us that in the past patients had asked for a wider range of magazines in the waiting rooms and more leaflets on dental care. These had been supplied.
