20th September 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People were happy with the care and treatment they received and commented that they were treated well by the staff and dentist's at the practice. Comments included, "The staff are always friendly and helpful” and “I'm always extremely happy with the service”. People commented that they were able to express their views and opinions and could influence the way their treatment was delivered. A comment made through a patient questionnaire stated, "Visiting the dentist is not traumatic like it was when I was a child" and "I'm very pleased with the professional service".

During our visit we saw a range of patient information leaflets situated in each waiting room. We saw a system in place to monitor people's 'satisfaction' with the service. We looked at eight completed patient satisfaction surveys. Comments made confirmed that people's views and opinions had been considered and used to make changes and improvements to the way the practice was run. We observed the practice treating people in a kind, professional, friendly and respectful manner. All consultations took place in private rooms.
