We spoke with six people who used the service. They were positive about the treatment and service they received. One patient told us it was a “great practice”, and another that “they look after you” and that it was “very nice, always very friendly.” Patients told us they always had their treatment options explained to them by the dentist, and were given a written treatment plan.

Patients received a full assessment and examination when they were first seen at the service and these were reviewed periodically after that. The service was responsive when patients needed urgent treatment.

There was a separate decontamination room and processes that ensured that equipment and facilities used by the service were cleaned and sterilised effectively.

Staff were appropriately registered and had carried out the necessary training to provide care and treatment.

The service responded to feedback and complaints from patients and staff, and carried out audits to improve the quality of the service for patients.
