27th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People that we spoke to told us they were happy with the service provided. They said they were consulted about their treatment and kept informed about relevant costs for both NHS and private dental care.

One person told us they had been using the practice for many years. They described the staff as “very courteous” and said that staff took time to explain and discuss their treatment.

Records we looked at showed that people who used the service were involved in any decisions regarding their treatment. Recent surveys completed by people who attended the practice were all complimentary about the service.

We saw that staff were polite and attentive when people arrived at the practice and when arranging appointments with people over the telephone.

All areas of the practice appeared clean, tidy and hygienic and there were effective systems in place to prevent and control infection.

The provider had effective systems in place for assessing and monitoring the service they provided.
