2nd May 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

On this occasion, we did not get the opportunity to speak with people using the service. We found that people were cared for by suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. The surgery had adequate arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies and people were protected from the risk of abuse. There were regular checks to ensure equipment was in working order and that drugs were in date.

13th September 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People who use the service understood the care and treatment choices available to them. People told us that they were provided with clear information about treatment options and the cost of treatments that enabled them to make informed decisions. One person said that “treatment plan and costs was given before treatment was agreed”.

People told us that the dentist listened to them and talked through the various treatment options. They said that care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that they were comfortable with. A person told us that “they are polite, pleasant and took extra time to look after”. People told us that the appointments were flexible to meet their needs.

People we spoke with told us that they found the surgery to be clean and appropriately maintained. Decisions about care and treatment were made by the professional staff at the appropriate level. A person told us that “I never been let down for 10 years”. Another person said they would “recommend this place to a family member”.
