We visited Broadwalk Dental Practice and inspected the premises, spoke to staff and patients and reviewed documentation. We spoke with one of the providers and the practice manager. We found the dental surgeries to be clean, and well equipped, and staff were both professional and knowledgeable.

Broadwalk Dental Practice employed four dentists and one dental hygienist/ therapist. The dental surgery is located close to the centre of Buxton. The dental surgery is located on the ground floor of a building, with access for people with restricted mobility by means of a removable ramp at the front door.

We spoke with two National Health Service (NHS) patients. Both patients said that they were extremely happy with their dental treatment, and both had been coming to the dental practice for several years.

We asked what was good about the dental practice and one patient told us: “I have been given lots of good advice; the dentist takes their time and is very caring. In fact all of the staff are very pleasant and helpful.” In relation to the same question the second patient said: “I think the dentist is very competent, all of the staff are very friendly, and if you have to be seen in an emergency (if you are in pain) they will try very hard to make sure you are seen quickly.”
