12th September 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Bupa Health Centre - Basinghall Street provided outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests and treatments for a range of conditions. We spoke with one person who used the service on the day of our visit. They told us the service was, "very good" and the staff were, "very professional." We saw feedback from a person who used the service who commented, “I wanted to commend the excellent service and care exhibited by staff. They put me at ease during a small procedure as well as exhibiting a real client-centric approach.”

People who used the service received care and treatment that met their assessed needs. People were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment. People were protected against the risks associated with medicines as the provider had appropriate arrangements in place to safely manage medicines.

Staff received training and support to carry out their duties to an appropriate standard. The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. People were protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and treatment because accurate and appropriate records were maintained.
