18th June 2013 - During a routine inspection
We obtained the views of four people who were using the service at the time of our inspection. All four said they were very happy with the service they received and would recommend the practice. They said fees were always fully explained and treatment choices, explanations and after-care advice were always clear. One person said, "I am very happy with the surgery. The reception staff are very helpful and the dentists provide clear explanations about treatment and care." Another person said “I have been coming here for years, we have moved to the other side of Leeds and we still come here." Someone else said "I have never had a problem getting an appointment and they nearly always keep to time." We also looked at patient satisfaction survey results for the practice, which revealed a high rate of satisfaction with the care people received. We have raised concerns with regard to areas of infection control. The practice has an infection control policy in place which is not always adhered to.
