24th February 2014 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

On inspection we found a clean surgery with effective policies for both cleaning and infection control.

13th November 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People told us that they were happy with the service provided and that their dignity was maintained and their privacy protected. They said that they were encouraged to ask questions and they felt that staff had the time to answer them. People reported that staff were good at discussing all their treatment options with them. One person told us, "The staff are very friendly and I always have my treatment options explained to me, the dentist is always very clear about the cost of each treatment". Another person told us "This is only my second appointment, it was easy for me to make an appointment and I was booked in quickly; I’ll be having a mixture of NHS and private treatment and the dentist was happy with this combination".

We found that the practice listened to patients and care and treatment provided was

recorded.

Overall we found that the practice had good systems in place for ensuring that staff were adequately supported and that quality monitoring arrangements in place. The practice was generally clean, although we discussed some areas for improvement to ensure the practice maintained good standards of hygiene.
