1st August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with five people who used the service and they all said they were very happy with the care and treatment they had received at the dental practice. One person said, “I’ve been coming for many, many years and would never want to go anywhere else. I had an absolute fear but since coming here I’ve been much better.” Another person said, “I’m a relatively new patient and have been very pleased so far. Everything is well explained.” Another person said, “The care has been very good. I have five other family members that come and they are all happy too.”

Staff told us people received good care and treatment, and their needs were appropriately met. They said people who used the service received support which was planned to make sure it met their individual circumstances.

We looked at a number of records and audits which confirmed regular checks were being carried out to ensure the service was safe and effective.

People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
