During our inspection we spoke with three patients and looked at nine patient records. We saw evidence that information such as risks, alternatives and benefits were discussed with patients. Patients who used the service said they felt they were given all the information to make an informed decision and were happy with the standard of care they received.

We spoke with the practice manager and three staff that worked at the practice. They told us that Disclosure and Barring Service checks (DBS formerly CRB), interviews, Identification checks and reference checks had been carried out on staff prior to employment. Evidence of recent training was seen in staff files.

We looked at the complaints process and found information was readily available to patients on how to make a complaint. We found one complaint had been addressed according to procedure and all parties were happy with the outcome.
