We spoke with four patients who used the service. We also spoke with the principal dentist, two dental nurses and the hygienist.

Patients told us that they felt well informed and were happy with the care and treatment that they received. They told us that they had been fully involved in making decisions about their care and treatment and knew the costs involved.

We reviewed the facilities and practice in relation to infection control. We found that risks associated with cross infection had not been fully assessed.

We looked at the systems and processes the practice had in place to respond to complaints. These demonstrated that suitable systems had been established to ensure complaints were dealt with appropriately.
