10th September 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

As part of this inspection we spoke with six people who used the service and three members of staff including the registered manager.

All the people we spoke with were happy with the care and service provided by the provider. One person told us that they were “not treated as a number, but treated as a patient”; another stated that it was an “excellent service”. People felt that procedures were explained to them and they were given a choice about treatments

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection and staff understood the importance of these.

We found there were effective recruitment and selection processes in place to ensure that staff were suitable to work in this environment.

The provider had a clear complaints policy in place.
