31st January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four people who used the service. Two had been coming to the practice for nearly 40 years. Another family travelled a considerable distance because they wanted to see a specific dentist. All the people we spoke with told us that they were very happy with the care and treatment they had received. They said that they had enough information about their treatment and that they could always ask for more information if they needed it.

The practice was clean and tidy. Personal protection equipment such as aprons, gloves and eye protection was used appropriately and infection control policies were followed. People we spoke with said that the practice was always clean and tidy.

Staff felt supported and said that they enjoyed working in the practice. They said that communication was excellent and they were all able to contribute to how the service was provided.

There was a complaints procedure and any complaint made was recorded and responded to in a timely manner.
