We spoke with people in the main reception area, who were either waiting for advice or treatment or who had received advice or treatment. Everyone we spoke with said that they were treated with respect and kindness by all staff. They said they gave agreement for their treatment and their options were fully explained to them. People told us they were supported to make decisions and choices regarding their care and treatment. One person said, "They give me all the time I need to make the right choice for me" Another said, "I am so grateful to the staff." People told us they did not have to wait too long for appointments, any delays were often explained by the receptionists and that they are always welcomed in a friendly manner. One person said, "I was in such pain yesterday and I was given an appointment for today." People's records were kept confidentially and securely.

People commented that they thought the surgery and practice building were clean. One person said, "It is spotless." The provider had systems in place to comply with the legal requirements for infection control. The provider regularly monitored the quality of the service. Where people had submitted complaints, the provider responded appropriately.
