13th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three people who were attending the practice that day. They told us they had been with the practice for many years and had always had every treatment explained properly. This helped them to make an informed decision about whether to go ahead with the treatment.

The dentist showed us how he used short films in the surgery to inform people about the treatments he was going to undertake. Two of the people we spoke with said that they had previously undergone extensive treatment from the dentist and found the films very helpful.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection.

There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place.

One person we spoke with told us "going to the dentist was like coming to see an old friend”. Another person said that “he has helped me tremendously with a lot of work and I absolutely trust him completely”.
