6th December 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment they had received. One person told us the dentist “always tells me what she is going to do and asks what I think” and “staff are very friendly and open.” Another person told us staff were professional, “always treated me fairly” and the “practice is always clean”.

We found people using the service were involved in decisions about their care, and people told us staff were polite and treated them with respect. People’s dental needs were assessed, and care and treatment was provided as agreed in their treatment plan. We observed the dental practice to be clean and there were systems in place to minimise the risk and spread of infections to people using the service. We found that the provider had arrangements in place to support staff with training and professional development. Records requested during the inspection were available, fit for use and securely stored.
