29th January 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

The people we spoke with said that they were very pleased with the service provided at the clinic. One person said, "I am very pleased with the treatment. The doctors always explained to me about my treatment and they are very caring, helpful and professional.” Another person said “It is an excellent service. The doctors are pleasant and helpful. They put me at ease and are very reassuring". We noted from the questionnaires completed by people who had attended their appointments on the day of our inspection that the feedback was positive.

We found that people's privacy and dignity had been respected and they had been involved in the decisions about their treatment. People had been provided with information about the service. People had a treatment plan that had been discussed with them. There were systems in place to minimise the risk and control the spread of infection. There were systems in place for assessing and monitoring the quality of service. Records had been held safely and securely.
