30th May 2013 - During a routine inspection
During our visit five adults and one child patient told us that they were treated with consideration and respect. They said that the dentists and staff were helpful and friendly and their treatment options and costs had been explained to them. The five adult patients we spoke with said that they were satisfied with the treatment they received. Their comments described a flexible service that responded well to their individual needs. Two patients told us that they were seen quickly when they needed emergency treatment. Suitable arrangements had been put in place to ensure that patients who were vulnerable would be safeguarded from harm. Staff working for Crescent Dental Care received training that was relevant to their designated roles. Five patients told us that the staff were respectful, helpful and friendly. One person said, "This is a very nice place to come. They are lovely people; respectful and polite." This dental practice had an effective system in place to monitor, review and improve the quality of the service provided to their patients.
