18th July 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with one patient and four members of staff. We reviewed four treatment records.

The patient told us that they were, "Very happy" with the advice and treatment they received from the dental clinic.

We saw records that confirmed that patients had been involved in decisions about their treatment. The patient we spoke to told us, “The options are discussed fully, I am given time to think about things.”

We found the practice to be clean and tidy. Staff were able to describe systematic routines for maintaining standards of cleanliness in the surgery.

We looked at two staff files and talked to staff on duty. We found that staff had been provided with regular training by the practice.

We found that there were processes and systems in place to review the quality of the service provided for patients.
