People we spoke with were positive about the quality of care and treatment received. One person commented, "the staff have always been really good to me, I have confidence in them." Another person told us "this is an excellent practice if you are a nervous patient."

We saw that patient care was continually assessed and documented. New patients were asked to complete a confidential medical history questionnaire. We saw that the reception area, treatment rooms and decontamination areas were clean and clutter free. People we spoke with were positive about the cleanliness of the practice. One person referred to the level of cleanliness in the practice as "it's very, very clean always spotless."

The emergency medicines were kept in a locked cupboard in a separate private room of the surgery. We saw that all medicines were in date and that the content and expiry dates were checked weekly.

Records were kept in locked cupboards which could be accessed easily by staff. These measures meant that the records were secure and could be located promptly when needed.
