20th December 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People using the service made positive comments about the care and treatment they received at The Dental Care Practice. Comments from two people were: “It’s a very friendly open practice, I am happy with the treatment” and ”They are nice but professional, we get the best service”.

People told us they were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. They said they had access to some written information about the services provided at the practice.

People told us they were treated well when they visited the practice. They said staff were friendly and polite. They considered they received good treatment and had no trouble when making appointments.

People had no concerns about their safety and wellbeing when attending appointments. However we found some processes for keeping vulnerable people safe were in need of development.

People said the surgeries were clean and that protective equipment was always used. However we found some processes for reducing the risk of infection could be developed.
