20th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People we spoke with told us that the dentists listened to them and talked through all the possible treatment options and costs, and that enabled them to make informed decisions. They told us that the appointments were flexible to meet their needs, consultations were held in private and they received good standard of care. They told us that the surgery was clean and well maintained and that the staff were friendly and polite. One person told us; “You get good service here for what you pay and that the staff always have a smile on their face”. Another person said; “The treatment plan and costs was given before treatment was agreed and they do a professional job”.

We found that people using the service were involved in decisions about their and were treated with dignity and respect. They experienced care and treatment that met their needs, and were cared for by suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. People were protected from the risk of infection, and the provider had systems in place to monitor the quality of the service people received.
