We spoke with five people using the service and they all said they were very happy and satisfied with the care. Some of them said they had been the surgery for many years and were always provided with good care. One person said, “I have never had any reason to complain”. Another person told us they lived quite far away but still came to the surgery for their dental care. “The dentist always has time for me and explains the various options“, said one person we spoke with. “I would give the surgery full marks. The staff are very polite”, said another person.

We found that people were able to express their views and were involved in their care and treatment. Their care was based on an assessment of their needs. The provider had policies and procedures in place to ensure cleanliness within the practice and staff followed suitable protocols to protect people against the risks of infection. Staff were up-to-date with their training, received annual appraisals and were supported in their professional development. The provider had systems in place to ensure that records were accurate and stored securely.
