5th March 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

There were no appointments at the practice during the time that we visited. However, we spoke with seven patients by telephone following our visit. Everyone that we spoke with held the practice in high regard. One said, “They’re very friendly and open. She’s a very good dentist and all the staff are very helpful”. Another told us, “We can’t speak highly enough of the practice”. One person had written a thank you card which said, ‘I could not have had better care, understanding or treatment anywhere’.

We spoke with the provider and two members of staff. Staff told us that they enjoyed working at the practice. They told us about the refurbishment work that had taken place in one of the two surgeries, the reception area and new decontamination room. They said that there had been a great improvement.

We found that the practice was very welcoming. Patients were offered choices about the treatment that they received and were cared for in a safe and clean environment. There was a system in place to monitor the quality of service provision and to respond to any new needs or issues.
