22nd February 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We met with the Registered Manager and the Nominated Individual during our visit to Dentalcare Hook.

We spoke with four people who used the service and they told us they were happy with the treatment they had received. They said they had enough information about their treatment. They told us they could book appointments at times convenient to them and one person told us “they always manage to fit me in”.

The practice was clean and tidy. Personal protection equipment was used appropriately and infection control policies were followed.

Staff we spoke with told us that the recruitment process had been thorough and they had been required to produce extensive documentation before they could start work.

The provider had effective and adequate systems in place to monitor the quality of service that people received. We saw that complaints had been dealt with efficiently.
