22nd February 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke to two young people who use the service and both reported that they were happy with the treatment they received. "The dentist is a nice guy" we were told. We were able to observe the interaction between the provider and an elderly person and the meeting was conducted with empathy and respect for the person. We were assured that people were treated with respect in a clean, safe and pleasant environment.

People told us they received sufficient information to enable them to make a decision about their treatment. They told us reported they were satisfied with the quality of care and treatment received and were complimentary about the staff. Staff were supported to attend training to ensure they had the necessary skills and knowledge to care for people.
