28th November 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two people who used the service during the inspection. They told us, "I think it is a good service and I am very satisfied with my treatment" and "It is all right here. I have been coming here for years". People said they were happy with the services provided at this dental practice.

There were policies and procedures for the control of infection. One person told us, "It is always clean and tidy". The surgery was clean and systems used to sterilise and store equipment meant that people who used the service were protected from the risk of infection.

People who used the service told us they had any treatment explained to them and they gave their consent before work was undertaken. This meant they were fully aware of the costs and procedures of any treatment.

We looked at how the service protected people and found robust systems to keep people safe.
