7th November 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

People we spoke with told us they were happy with the dental treatment provided by the practice. One person we spoke with said they had been with the surgery for many years and never had any reason to complain. They said, "The principal dentist is very patient and gives me lot of time."

We found that the provider had made necessary improvements in response to the concerns we had raised at our visit of April 2013. There were suitable infection control practices to protect people who use the service from harm of infection.

29th April 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People we spoke with told us that they were “very happy” with the care and treatment at the dental practice. They said that the dentist explained to them the treatment and they were given adequate information. They said they found the practice to be clean when they visited.

We found that the people who used the service received appropriate information and were involved in their care. Staff received suitable training and records were maintained appropriately and securely. However, we also found on the day of the inspection lack of a suitable policy on infection control and lack of appropriate risk assessments.
