11th January 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

We did not speak with anyone using the service about this standard when we carried out our follow up inspection.

During our inspection we focused on the work that had been undertaken to address compliance. We were shown the work undertaken by the service to ensure they safeguarded people who used the service from abuse.

We also saw that further improvements had been made to the area where staff cleaned and sterilised dental equipment. A door had been fitted to the decontamination room and the room had been de-cluttered by removing equipment which was no longer used.

12th March 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We did not have the opportunity to speak with people who used the service during our visit. However the provider had completed consultations with people and shared this information with us. Twelve people contributed and were positive about the service offered. One person commented “No suggestions as you are always pleasant, helpful, and on time.”

We saw that staff were very friendly and welcoming to people attending appointments. We also saw that they offered help and support over the telephone including describing treatment and procedures.
