We spoke with three people who use the service, reviewed letters of thanks sent to Dr Casson and looked at testimonials on the provider's website. People felt they were given appropriate information and were involved in making decisions about their care. One person told us "Dr Casson is the most fantastic dentist". People received care and treatment that ensured their safety. A detailed medical and dental history was taken and updated at each appointment. Staff had received basic life support training and emergency equipment was available.

People were assessed and treated by staff that were suitably qualified in a clean and hygienic environment. There were daily cleaning checklists in place and appropriate arrangements for the decontamination of reusable instruments. Cleaning audits had been undertaken and staff were observed wearing personal protective equipment, such as gloves and masks.

There were systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided. People who use the service were encouraged to provide feedback and any concerns would be listened to. Staff met with each other regularly to discuss the overall running of the service and had clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
