6th August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People we spoke with told us that they were very satisfied with the service provided. They shared positive experiences of their care and treatment. Comments included, “The staff are all absolutely brilliant, I can’t fault it” and, “It’s a fantastic dental practice, I can’t speak highly enough of them”.

People told us they were always made welcome and were seen on time. They said if they had required emergency treatment they had been seen without delay.

People told us their checks were thorough and their treatment options were fully explained to them including the costs. This enabled them to make an informed decision about their treatment and their dental health needs.

People said they always found the practice clean. We saw the practice had effective arrangements in place for the safe management of infection control. Staff had received training to reduce the risk of cross infection.

People described the staff as “Professional” and “Friendly”. We saw staff were provided with good training opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge and to meet the requirements of their registration.

People told us they had not had cause to complain about the service but were confident any concerns raised would be listened to and addressed.
