8th January 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People using the service told us they found the dentist to be friendly. They said they reassured them and made them feel relaxed.

Consent was obtained before any treatment began. A treatment plan was in place and provided people using the service with information about the treatment they required and the associated costs.

The service was visually clean on the day of our inspection and staff followed the recommended national guidance for decontamination and sterilisation of dental equipment.

Staff reported they felt well supported and there were opportunities for them to continue with their professional development through regular training.

There was a complaints process in place. The complaints received by the service had been responded to and dealt with in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the complainant.
