20th December 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People we spoke with during our inspection of 20 December 2012 told us that they were always asked for their consent before any examination or treatment took place at Eastfield House Specialist Orthodontic Practice. We saw that people were made aware of the potential cost of any examination or treatment before it took place.

We saw that people were provided with enough information to make a decision about their treatment options. People were provided with treatment plans and detailed information about their treatment options.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection at the practice.

Staff were suitably trained and there were enough of them to be able to offer appropriate care and support to people using services at Eastfield House Specialist Orthodontic Practice.

People were regularly asked to comment on the quality of services provided at the practice.
