26th February 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Our inspection in April 2012 found that the provider was not effectively auditing patient’s treatment records to assure their quality. There was no audit system to check that all elements of patient treatment plans were correct. There was an error in one patient’s treatment plans that meant the dentist could not refer with full confidence to all of the patient’s radiography films. The provider was set an improvement action in order to rectify the area of concern found at this inspection.

We followed up on our inspection of April 2012 to check that action had been taken to meet the improvement action set. EasySmile Ashford was able to demonstrate that they were meeting the improvement action set in order to rectify the area of concern identified at that inspection.

5th March 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients said that they were happy with the service provided. They thought that they had been given enough information about their treatment options and about the fees they would have to pay. They considered that their treatment had reliably met their dental needs. They were satisfied that the practice and the equipment used had been clean and they were confident that staff knew about the importance of good hygiene.

One patient said, 'I am very satisfied with the care I get at the practice, so much so that I've recommended it to other people because the staff are genuinely kind and you can trust the dental care you'll get'.
