13th February 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four patients who attended on the day and asked for their comments about the practice. They all commented that they were treated with courtesy and respect when they arrived and found the reception staff helpful. One patient described the reception staff as exceptional and friendly. Another person said that they were very accommodating on the phone and were usually seen promptly when they arrived.

They all said that their treatment options were explained to them so that they were able to make an informed choice about their treatment.

Patients said that they were given good advice on how to care for their teeth and gums so that their oral health was promoted. One person said, “Their care was extremely good.”

Patients were protected from cross infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.

Patients were protected from unsafe and inappropriate care because the practice records kept were accurate, fit for purpose and held in a confidential and secure way.
