30th September 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two patients who told us they were satisfied with the service provided. They said they never experienced difficulties obtaining an appointment that suited their needs. One person said “The service here is excellent”. Another person said “I am always happy with the treatment I receive”.

Before patients received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. Where patients did not have the capacity to consent, the provider acted in accordance with legal requirements.

Patients experienced care, treatment and support that met their individual needs and protected their rights.

Patients were protected against the risks associated with medicines because the provider ensured that appropriate arrangements were in place to manage medicines.

Patients were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.

There was an effective complaints system available.
