2nd July 2014 - During a routine inspection
Patients expressed their views and told us they were involved in making decisions about their treatment. They understood the treatment choices available to them. Patients said the dentist listened to them and they were treated with dignity and respect. Patient’s needs were assessed, treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual treatment plan. Patients said they were satisfied with the care and treatment they received from the service. They said they received safe and effective care that met their needs. Patients were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. Patients we spoke with found the premises to be clean and pleasant. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Patients were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely. They said they had confidence in the abilities of nurses and dentists. The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that patients receive.
