6th December 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients told us that they were happy with the service they received from the dental surgery. One patient said, "They're really supportive. Sometimes I have to cancel due to my health problems and they're so good about it. They always try and accommodate me". Another person said, "I haven't been to the dentist for years but going to Franklin House is very different to how I remember the dentist from before. I feel involved, it is very good the way they explain everything". A third patient said, "They're very, very good, I can't fault them".

We found that patients were involved in decisions made about their treatment. We saw that treatment was planned and delivered appropriately and that notes made to inform decisions were thorough and informative. The practice team were aware of the importance of recognising abuse and how to report it. The practice was clean and it had procedures in place to ensure that the quality of the service delivered reached patient expectations.
