26th March 2013 - During a routine inspection
We found the provider compliant with all outcomes inspected. Patients all told us they were treated with dignity and respect. We found evidence of informed consent and patient involvement in their treatment planning. We saw and all of the patients told us they found the practice to be clean so that patients received treatment in a hygienic environment. We found evidence of this in patient feedback surveys. We found the provider was following essential requirements for decontamination of dental instruments so that patients can be confident that the instruments are clean and safe to use. The staff told us the provider supported them in their professional development so that they were supported to gain the knowledge and skills to do their job. We found the patient records to be fit for purpose and stored securely so patients can be confident that their personal information is retained safely.
