3rd January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four people using the service. People expressed a high level of satisfaction with it. People said they found the practice friendly and welcoming. They found the premises to be clean. They were usually seen on time. The dentists made them feel at ease and told them the outcome of their examination. One person who required treatment told us the dentist had explained the reasons for that and the options available. None of the people we spoke with had ever had cause to complain about the service.

We found the service had arrangements in place to provide the care and treatment people required. The service involved people in decisions about their care. It had procedures to protect people from the risk of abuse. The service maintained a clean environment to minimise the risk of infection. People were looked after by staff who were appropriately trained and supported.
