20th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four people using the service and five staff working at the practice. People told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment that they received from the practice. They told us they were provided with information about the dental treatments available, the costs of treatment and any risks were fully explained by the dentist.

People told us they were asked about changes to their health and medicines at every visit. Their comments included “he explains everything, he is very good” and “the dentist went through the fees and the risks involved with the treatment.

Effective systems were in place to manage infection control and prevention.

There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people’s needs.

Effective systems were in place for responding to complaints. People we spoke with said they would feel confident to raise any concerns they might have with the provider.
