3rd July 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our visit we spoke with four people who use the service. They told us they were very satisfied with the service received. One person said "they're very good, otherwise I wouldn't come back". Another said "it's a fantastic service. I am absolutely satisfied". A third person said "100 out of 100. Absolutely brilliant". People told us they were easily able to get an appointment when they needed to. One person told us "I had to use the out-of-hours emergency system once - they saw me straight away".

We found that the service planned people's care and treatment in ways that met their needs. We saw that the provider had taken steps to safeguard children and vulnerable adults from the risk of abuse. When we visited, we noted that the premises were clean and met government guidelines for the prevention of infection.

We found that the service followed an appropriate recruitment process, and that staff were skilled, qualified and experienced to perform their roles. We found that the provider had taken steps to assess and monitor the quality of the service, and to improve the service based on feedback received.
